The Leader Behind Vreeland & Associates

Curtis VreelandCurtis Vreeland established his reputation in the chocolate industry in the mid-1980s as Hershey’s Manager of International Operations (Cocoa). His insights have been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Vancouver Sun, Los Angeles Times, Nutraceuticals World, among others. Curtis has visited most of the major cocoa-producing regions.

For his philanthropic and academic work Curtis has received the Governor’s Citizen Award (Pennsylvania), YWCA Reilly Award (Harrisburg, PA) and Childer’s Award for Academic Excellence (Rutgers University). He is a national fellow with the prestigious Explorer’s Club and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the mountains of Nepal. He earned an MS in Applied Economics from Cornell and PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
