Vreeland & Associates designs and manages food, wine and chocolate themed events for corporate and non-profit clients to achieve their marketing and fundraising objectives. From concept to execution, we can handle the entire project or work within your organization’s operation. Event services include development of the event’s theme, solicitation of event sponsorships, management of event publicity, hands-on management the day of the event, and feedback to all participants.
Additionally, Vreeland & Associates provides exceptional wine and chocolate seminars that are tailored to the specific needs of each client. Some examples include:
- The Joy of Chocolate & Wine Tasting
- Grand Cru Chocolate & Wine Tasting
- “New Wave” American Chocolate & Wine Tasting
- Retro Aztec Chocolate & Wine Tasting
- Customized Chocolate & Wine Tastings
Our events management clients include Corning Museum, American Wine Society, Sharing Village Cancer Survivors Group, Pennsylvania Wine Society and Harrisburg Opera Association.
Between 2004 and 2008, Vreeland created and hosted the Next Generation Chocolatier competition, America’s first national competition dedicated to recognizing the talents of aspiring American artisan chocolatiers. The themes of these ground-breaking competitions were:
- 2008: salty sweets
- 2006: tea-infused chocolate
- 2004: American-style grand cru chocolate
With their deservedly earned recognition and media attention, many of the winners have gone on to develop very successful careers. By 2010, we felt that Next Generation Chocolatier competition met its need – now there are almost too many competitions – and we discontinued the event.
