Next Generation Chocolatier Competition
Vreeland & Associates created and manages the Next Generation
Chocolatier Competition, America's only national chocolate
competition. The competition's mission is to acknowledge
American artisan chocolatiers who are gifted and ready for prime
time. "The competition is like American Idol, only
sweeter," says Curtis Vreeland. It is held every two
years in New York City, with the next event scheduled for 2008.
The competition's objectives are to:
Set quality standards
Encourage chocolatiers to meet those standards
Raise consumer appreciation in well-crafted confections
Showcase the results
