2015 US chocolate sales up 3.1%; premium up 9%

In 2015, the U.S. chocolate market grew 3.1% to $21.8 billion. But certain segments scored much better. Premium chocolate sales rose 9.0% to $2.7 billion, while imports of ethically produced cocoa rocketed up 42% to 21,508,000 metric tons.
